Myofunctional Therapy

Specialized therapy services focused on addressing improper uses of the muscles involved in essential functions such as breathing, swallowing, speech, and facial growth and development. Through various games, activities, and exercises, myofunctional therapy aims to improve muscle strength, coordination, and symmetry and promote proper breathing, swallowing, and tongue posture, laying the foundation for a lifetime of optimal oral health and overall well-being.

The Four Main Goals of Myofunctional Therapy:

  • Proper Tongue Posture (tongue up resting in its proper position on the palate)

  • Lip Seal (lips closed comfortably at rest)

  • Nasal Breathing

  • Proper Swallowing Pattern

Bodywork for baby

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) is a gentle, non-invasive, hands on therapy technique guided by the infant. CFT works to release tightness and fascial strain patterns, allowing baby to reach an optimal level of functioning.
